Course Overview

Investment banking analysts/associates are not hired simply to build spreadsheets. They are expected to form defensible views to support their client's decision making.​

The Applied Investment Banking programme trains you to operate both technically and commercially.​ ​Our approach combines rigorous financial modelling with commercial judgment and transaction logic.​​​

You will analyse a real company from Europe or Switzerland - working with live financial information and region-specific regulatory and capital market considerations. ​​

The focus is on building a complete underwriting model to support valuation views and present strategic alternatives.​

​​​By the end of the programme, you will become an advanced modeller, able to:

• Approach a target company with a structured analytical framework

• Form a clear investment and valuation thesis

• Understand how capital structure affects deal outcomes

• Translate analysis into concise, client-ready reasoning

• Defend your assumptions in interviews and professional discussions
